Hackney Chinese Community Services participated in 2 days of hate crime training provided by Protection Approaches coordinated by Chinese Welfare Trust and Newham Chinese Association. The training consisted of learning definitions, discussing hate crime scenarios, barriers to reporting, how to report, and how best to support ESEA victims of hate crime.
Racism and race hate crime during the Covid-19 pandemic has been strife and HCCS will continue to take steps in developing services to support victims and empower the ESEA community with relevant information. Please see the training slides produced by Protection Approaches.
